Diabetes:    YES - There is a direct relationship between giving up tobacco and diabetes. As people have given up tobacco, they have  replaced it with more food and typically processed garbage, and have studily gained weight. We are now the most over-weight and obese developed country in the world. With this comes diabetes along with countless other medical problems. All a multi billion dollar treatment industry today.
